How to do Social help?

Hey friends…I want to share my views on the topic of social help. I personally feel that a country must be so developed that it should not have the word “social service” in its dictionary. Each and every individual must be capable enough so that the person does not need any help from the other person.

Well, today it’s a dream but one day it will become the present.

We all know that there are many issues in India and one of the ways to reduce/solve them is the social help or we can say samaj seva. I believe that as the word samaj seva comes, a thought comes in our minds that why we should do anything for someone. Who are they to us to whom we will help?. 

But we all should understand that they all are not someone, they all are our neighbours only, no matter wherever they reside in India.

Before you and I get deeper in this talk I must say this that:-

 “We may or may not be able to do something for the society but we all must have the Desire to work socially”

To work socially we all must samarapit i.e. dedicate, ourselves towards the society, only then we can work for the society.

Issues in India:-

• ·         Poverty
• ·         Cleanliness
• ·         Unemployment
• ·         Electricity
• ·         Women empowerment
• ·         Infrastructure development
• ·         Child labor etc. etc. etc.

I have written some of the issues but as we know that there are too many. We all are humans, we all have humanity, and we all want to do something for others i.e. people-in-need, but the talk comes again on the same point that how to do it.

There are many ways to do social work, we just have to think towards society and we will automatically find the path. I have tried to express the ways to help people.

What social services an individual can perform to serve the people?

  One can give his/her time to help the needy people. I not saying that one should spend all of his/her time socially. We can start from Sundays and slowly and gradually, as suitable, we can increase the effort time.

  A person can give the donation in money to NGO’s which are already working for the people.
• 
  

  Someone can give the donation in kind i.e. food, clothes, blankets, shoes etc.
• 
  

  An individual can also work digitally, like me, to make people aware of the issues in the society and how one can work on them to resolve them or what one can do for the society. Today all the people are digitally connected to each other like on social media, video calls etc. which even have a great impact on the people. These kinds of platforms can be helpful to make people aware, generate an eagerness in their hearts side and connect them towards the society.

  One can take part in the “Swachta Abhiyan”. A step which emphasis on “Clean India”. It is very important that all of us takes part in this Abhiyan as uncleanliness disgrace the reputation of our country and it is not good for health as well. Therefore we all should stand together to make our societies, our states, and our India.

  A person can also do social help by working on the field to provide the basic facilities in remote areas of India.

  One can support the poor people, who do not have the money to fight legal cases, to file a case and fight for their legal rights. Most of the people even don’t know their birthrights due to which those people are violated/misused by other fraud people.

Few lines for self-motivation to serve the nation by doing social help…

आजतक अपने लिए ही जिए है 

अब कुछ दूसरो के लिए करके दिखाना है 

हम कर भी क्या सकते है 

ये पर्दा लोगो की आँखों से गिराना है 

"हमारे पास वक़्त नहीं है" ये कहने वाले लोगो को 

दूसरो के लिए वक़्त निकालना सिखाना है 

गरीबों की परेशानिओ को बाजार में 

खुलेआम हमे बिकवाना है 

रिश्ता ये एहसास का 

अब हमे सबके साथ निभाना है 

आजतक अपने लिए ही जिए है 

अब कुछ दूसरो के लिए करके दिखाना है 

By helping the people we can also generate the employment. 

For example:-  in backward villages where there is no bridge on the river to cross, with the help of money we can build the bridge, but to generate the employment we can ask the villagers to help us to build the bridge and in return we can give them money on daily basis or can also give them something in kind, which will result in construction of the bridge as well as the employment in the village. These kinds of ideas will work like hitting two targets with one arrow i.e. one solution for two problems.

Everybody does not have the courage to do social help without any gain or profit. I strongly believe that social workers are not less than the soldiers of our country. The only difference between them is that the soldiers protects people and social workers helps people.

So….be like our soldiers who are always ready to fight for, help and support the people. 

They are performing their part and its time to perform ours.
